What You Can Expect from Country Road Funerals Regarding a No Service Cremation
If cremation is your departed loved one’s preference, they might also prefer no service or a special, more intimate service when and where the ashes are scattered. In these situations, we provide cremation without a service or funeral—also a popular option for families dealing with their loss on a tight budget. If no service cremation is your preferred option, you should expect the following for our flat fee:
- We will handle the transfer of your loved one from the place of death to the crematorium. There, we will give them the dignified mortuary care and dressing that we provide for all our customers’ departed loved ones before the cremation.
- Afterwards, we will transfer your loved one within 60 kilometres from the CBD of Adelaide for no extra costs. Transfer outside that area incurs a cost of $1.80 per kilometre extra. After-hours or weekend transfers come with a fee of $250 as does pre-paying for direct cremation. We spell out our costs clearly because we want to ensure that there are no hidden costs to you for our direct cremation service during what is already a difficult time.
- Once you have received your loved one’s ashes, you can create your own memorial service per their wishes, scattering the ashes in an important place to them or in a way that will help you to memorialise their life and what they mean to you. This freedom allows you to remember the deceased in a way that is tailored to how they lived their life and the mark that they left on those who remain.
